DIY Hot Chocolate Bar on Hallmark’s Home and Family

Today on the Hallmark Channel’s Home and Family Show we are celebrating Christmas! I am showing how to create a cozy hot cocoa bar that is a rustic chic woodland theme. By adding a few easy DIY’s you could make this really special tablescape at home in time for Christmas, because who doesn’t like hot chocolate and marshmallows this time of year?

I featured this hot chocolate bar in my digital magazine Christmas From Scratch. The star of the tablescape is the moss covered reindeer that have beautiful gold glitter. It is a really fun way to add a little rustic chic touch.

Start by placing a cotton table runner along the table to create a snowy look, and add in any snow we covered decor to make it look wintery. I also wrapped it clear mugs in burlap and twine to keep the rustic touch, and made my homemade marshmallows, biscotti, and brownies to make it even more special.
